The Culture Yard unites the days of yore with a top-tuned modern profile in a unified culture and knowledge centre.
The façade structure in its entirety creates a clear identity, branding the Culture Yard, not as a modernistic box contrasting with the existing, but as a facetted structure that in scale and rhythm communicates immediately with the wharfs and ramparts of its context as well as with the pitched roofs of the town.
The project is a unified plan for a two-stage construction of a whole that is both building-technologically solid and financially viable, ensuring maximum benefit from the potential of the unique location at the sound, Kronborg and town centre of Helsingør.
