The premise underlying the proposal is to plan the area following three simple, qualitative parameters – view, light and spatial variation.

The proposal introduces a break with the grand scale layout prevalent in Ørestad today. The plan is composed of 12 regular L-shaped entities, each given outdoor space on the terrain, roof terraces and an individual architectonic voice. As far as the plan is concerned, the entities are related to each other, but substantial diversity in the area is ensured through morphological variation of the volumes.

What is more, each entity and its appurtenant outdoor space is made an issue, whereby a strong identity for each part area is created. The plan is robust and is able to absorb several different types of residences and businesses, each of a high, architectonic value.
