church centre in hinnerup
introduction | project data | images

Generally, the building is laid out as an angle or a cross with the church situated at the corner turning south-east and with church office and congregational facilities in the wings facing east and south, respectively. Thus, all the functions of the church centre are permitted a view of and a nearness with the surrounding landscape.
The church room is laid out with a high degree of flexibility, making it possible to use the room as both a central and a procession church.
The ambition is to achieve a poetic balance between the parish council’s desire for extensive flexibility and religious pluralism and the area’s excellent landscape qualities.
