The purpose of the project is, initially, to examine the requirements and wishes that will be had for the recreational dwelling/summer house of the future, and, subsequently, to investigate and research how these requirements and wishes can be met in an energy efficient manner, among other things by putting forth concrete proposals for solutions of the problems.
Lastly, the purpose is to suggest directions, guidelines and new initiatives (a labelling system, etc.) in order to highlight the issues of energy efficiency and a reduction of energy consumption (a 30% reduction) in this type of building.
